Club Universidad

Through the Kids Alive DR Independence Program, young adults receive life skills training, vocational support, and university scholarships to equip them for a life of independence and service after graduation.

There are currently over 80 university students pursuing degrees in medicine, business, accounting, civil engineering, dentistry, modern languages, education, architecture, computer science, and tourism — among other majors.

Club Universidad gathers monthly as a connection point for these students.

Alida and Chucho, employees at ANIJA School in Jarabacoa, facilitate and lead monthly meetings for university students — Club Universidad.

Their leadership provides mentorship and accountability for the young adults in our university program.
